Welcome to Recovery For You Coaching

Practical, compassionate and non-judgemental support for lasting recovery

1:1 recovery coaching for adults who want support with substance misuse, relapse, cravings, triggers, routines, confidence and building a more stable recovery.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before asking for support. We can start with where you are now and work from there.

Recovery is personal. Everyone is different.

Recovery is a journey made up of small steps. You may be trying to stop, struggling after a lapse or relapse, or simply feeling stuck and unsure what needs to change next.

I offer practical, non-judgemental 1:1 support to help you understand patterns, manage difficult moments, build healthier routines and move forward with greater confidence.

Recovery is not only about stopping substances. It can also be about rediscovering who you are, rebuilding self-belief and beginning to create a life that feels more stable, meaningful and manageable.

Experienced support, tailored to you

With around 20 years’ experience working in the addiction and recovery field within different services and organisations, I now bring that experience into my own 1:1 recovery coaching practice.

I work particularly with adults aged 25+ who want support to make meaningful changes in their recovery.

My approach is compassionate, person-centred and practical. I understand that everyone’s story is different, and I don’t believe recovery should be approached as though one method fits everyone.

Together, we can look at what is happening now, what may be getting in the way, what has helped or not helped before, and what you would like to change.

Based in the UK, supporting clients online in the UK and internationally.

About Me

Portrait of the recovery coach behind Recovery For You Coaching, standing by the sea

I have around 20 years’ experience working in the addiction and recovery field across community services, criminal justice, day programmes, 1:1 support and group work.

Over the years, I’ve worked with people at many different stages of recovery — from those beginning to question their substance use, to people rebuilding after a lapse or relapse and those working towards longer-term stability.

My approach is calm, practical, compassionate and non-judgemental. I believe recovery is personal, and that meaningful change is more likely when people feel heard rather than judged.

My training includes Motivational Interviewing, CBT-based approaches, Counselling Skills Levels 1–3, Listening Skills and Safeguarding.

I now bring that experience into Recovery For You Coaching, supporting clients to understand patterns, build confidence, strengthen routines and move forward at a pace that feels manageable.

Recovery is about more than getting through the day
