Discovery Call

A Discovery Call is a free initial conversation to help us understand where you are in your recovery and whether working together feels right.

There is no pressure to commit to anything.

It is simply a chance to talk, ask questions and get a clearer sense of what support may be helpful.

What we can talk about

During the call, we can look at:

  • where you are in your recovery right now
  • what you are finding difficult
  • any recent lapses, relapses, triggers or cravings
  • what kind of support you feel you need
  • what you would like to change
  • whether my 1:1 recovery coaching approach feels suitable for you

You do not need to prepare anything in advance.

You can come to the call exactly as you are.

Video call, with phone appointments available where needed

Discovery Calls are usually held by video call, which gives us a chance to speak face-to-face in a relaxed way.

If a video call is not suitable for you, a phone call can be arranged where needed.

The purpose is simply to have an initial conversation and see whether we would be a good fit to work together.

What happens next

If we both feel that working together would be a good fit, I can explain the next steps and answer any questions you may have about 10 Weeks of 1:1 Recovery Coaching.

If it does not feel like the right fit, there is no obligation to continue.

A calm first step

For some people, making the first contact can feel like the hardest part.

The Discovery Call is simply a starting point.

You do not need to have everything figured out.

Sometimes the first small step is just having an honest conversation about where you are now and where you would like to be.

Important to know

Recovery For You Coaching is not an emergency or crisis service.
